Real Estate Ryan Serhant April 29, 2026
I probably shouldn't write this, but when I started SERHANT. I promised to be the most transparent CEO on the planet, so here we are...
When people ask why SERHANT. is succeeding, not only as a brokerage but as a media company, a tech platform, and a sales training engine, I point to one thing:
We are not running a company; we are evolving an ECOSYSTEM that is built using three core themes:
Our organizational structure (how we operate) and culture (why we operate) is a living system designed to move, learn, and multiply, at scale.
At SERHANT., we operate with a HoldCo + OpCo model: a core holding company, SERHANT. Technologies Inc., sits at the center, NOT at the top. Distinct business lines plug into it: Cloud Brokerage, Signature (private client), New Development, our production company SERHANT. Studios, our marketing agency ID Lab, our AI OS for salespeople S.mple, Sellit.com, and our sandboxes (ventures).
Our brand, our people, our systems, and our capital flow through every line.
It’s one connected ecosystem, and it works because it runs on three key pillars:
The Resonance Model
Visibility is leverage. Resonance is power.
In a noisy world, attention without connection doesn’t convert. At least not for us (if you’ve figured out how to do this, PLEASE DM me!) The Resonance Model is how we align media, message, and market, so that every problem we solve for our customers, and therefore every story we tell, attracts the right people, at the right time, for the right reason.
Our media engines - SERHANT. Studios and ID Lab - don’t just produce content. They create frequency. Every post, property video, and press hit amplifies every other vertical. From our books (the paperback of Brand it Like Serhant hits shelves November 18th), our Netflix show (Owning Manhattan Season 2 drops December 5th), to all of our EGC (employee generated content), listing content, and more is created for resonance. Content to audience, audience to community, community to client, client to commerce.
Resonance turns the brand into a magnet. It reduces CAC, increases trust, and keeps us top of mind before anyone ever makes a call. I credit our revenue growth and profitability to the resonance model.
Magnetic Architecture
We build for compounding, and orbital, speed.
The old model of growth was linear - hire more, spend more, hope for more. Similar to the innovator, imitator, and idiot framework for investing.
The old model is engineered to building memorable products and brands, because that was the job – create something people remember (either because they own, want to own, or are reminded about the product through advertising) and you’ll win!
Our ecosystem has no interest in being memorable – we want to be magnetic. A magnetic product and brand doesn’t just stick in your memory with the need for more fuel to maintain that momentum – it creates gravity. People orbit around it because of shared values, aspirational identity, and an ecosystem of experiences they don’t want to leave.
This is what pillar two, Magnetic Architecture, is all about.
Each vertical – Cloud Brokerage, Signature, New Development, Ventures, Studios, ID Lab - operates with its own leadership, P&L, and roadmap. That gives us autonomy without chaos, leverage without redundancy, and scale without dilution.
Underneath, shared systems (finance, ops, engineering, data, HR) and a unified tech stack keep everything aligned – SLAPI, S.ENTRAL, and our S.RM for example are all unified in orbit around everything else we do. Even S.MPLE., probably the most magnetic product and department we have, orbits within the ecosystem.
Every action in one vertical accelerates another. Every win builds the next one. That's momentum for sure, but you’re doomed to fail if your speed is not magnetic.
Compound Culture
We hire builders, not employees.
When I first cast our Netflix show, I told everyone: “You will not even be considered for the show unless you personally have your own TV show worth of story to tell.” That’s how you build an amazing cast, and Netflix (and the audience) has agreed!
At SERHANT., I've hired our roughly 200 FTE’s with the same idea: “You will not even be considered for a job unless you personally have a business you could build here.”
Everyone at S. is an entrepreneur. Every person knows what they’re building, who they’re building it with, and could stand their own department on its own if needed.
Our culture compounds because success isn’t siloed. When one agent wins, we all do. When one employee crushes a target, we all do. When one video hits, every listing benefits. When one product ships, every agent’s life gets easier. When one training in Sellit.com works, everyone jumps for joy!
We call that Compound Culture - a mindset where creativity, accountability, and ambition multiply through collaboration.
It’s why our people stay. It’s why our brand grows. It’s why we’re the most-followed, fastest-expanding brokerage on Earth with $0 spent on growth.
Why It Works
Our ecosystem isn’t just vertically integrated - it’s orchestrated.
Every piece plays its role. Every system feeds the next. Every person adds force to the whole.
Working this way has helped me solve for durability (cash flow + brand equity), scalability (technology + education), visibility (media + marketing), and leverage (shared systems + operational clarity).
That’s why this works.
It’s not luck. It’s structure, systems, and intent, used to build a company that creates its own gravity.
