January: For those looking to avoid intense heat, Marrakech, Morocco, is a prime choice. Its cooler, crisp air makes exploring the souks and the Jardin Majorelle comfortable (AFAR, 2025).
February: This is the ideal time to experience Venice, Italy, without the typical tourist throngs. The misty atmosphere and quiet canals offer a unique, romantic perspective of the city (AFAR, 2025).
March: Early spring in Japan is famous for the beginning of cherry blossom season, though travelers can also find off-the-beaten-path adventures in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco as they continue to recover and welcome tourism (Ellwood, 2026; AFAR, 2025).
April: This month offers a diverse mix of seasonal changes. One can witness the grape harvest in Chile or explore the reopened coastal highways of California (Ellwood, 2026).
May: Kaua'i, Hawai'i, shines in May. It sits in a "Goldilocks" window where the winter rains have ceased, but the intense humidity of summer has yet to arrive (AFAR, 2025).
