Central Park

New York City is a concrete jungle full of amazing views, but still one of the most coveted in all of New York is of Central Park. Established in 1857 on 778 acres, Central Park was expanded to its current size of 843 acres in 1873. Today it is a historic landmark. Nearby residents enjoy a lush view and access to all its glory. Attractions include rinks, restaurants such as Tavern on the Green, the Central Park Zoo, playing fields, gardens, Bethesda Fountain, playgrounds, a carousel, marionette and open-air theaters, bike and running paths, and picnic areas.
